“What the Cowardly Lion Saw,” May 15, 2022
The Touchstones Theme for May is Courage. We welcome Laurel Frishman‘s return to the UUCC pulpit on May 15th, with a sermon entitled “What the Cowardly Lion Saw.” Laurel explores the source in our lives of this sometimes elusive characteristic — courage. Once we find courage, we can see how it impacts the quality of our lives on many fronts.
Laurel is a recent graduate of the Shared Pulpit class and also contributes to the UUCC Sunday services as a worship associate. Laurel is also a charter member of UUCC, attending the very first gathering of folks interested in starting up a UU fellowship on the Coast. Laurel lives in El Granada with her wacky little cockatiel, Ty, and enjoys the outdoors immensely, hiking in the hills, walking on the beach, and working in her garden.
Third Sunday services, such as this one by Laurel, will be held over Zoom while 1st Sunday services are in-person at Odd Fellows Hall and live streamed over YouTube.
